St. Mary’s Pulmonary Care conducts a weekly Lung Nodule Clinic.  We are dedicated to the improvement of survival statistics in lung cancer patients.  Patients are seen by the pulmonologist within one week of referral and biopsies are scheduled within one week.   Multi-discipline input from our experienced team of specialists in pulmonary medicine, thoracic surgery, medical oncology, diagnostic radiology and radiation oncology ensures a timely and accurate approach to cancer care.  We are the region’s experts in early lung cancer detection and treatment.  If you are a physician referring to us, please use our Patient Referral Form.

Electromagnetic Navigational Bronchoscopy (ENB) is a new diagnostic tool exclusively available in the tri-state at St. Mary’s.  ENB uses a CT roadmap to extend the reach of the bronchoscope enabling physicians to locate small lung lesions for diagnostic testing and potential treatment.  The system uses natural airway access and electromagnetic technology.  ENB is typically an outpatient procedure and minimizes the need for more invasive surgical procedures to access lung lesions in the distant regions of the lung.  This advanced technology provides the ability to detect lung disease and lung cancer earlier, event before symptoms are evident, enhancing treatment options for patients.
